Hubbard’s Cupboard
Students without access to adequate resources often face insurmountable challenges. When students have the tools necessary to achieve, the possibilities are endless. In fact, according to the 2025 Educator Survey Impact Report conducted by Crayons to Computers, teachers observe that once resources are available:
-
90% say students are more engaged in learning as a result of the Hubbard's Cupboard
-
89% see students' self-esteem increase as a result
-
94% say the products received from the cupboard allow them to enrich their students' learning experiences
Hubbard's Cupboard, in collaboration with Crayons to Computers, is an on-site, on-demand resource for students and teachers, providing immediate access to school supplies, hygiene products and healthy snacks. Cupboards are stocked regularly by the program's volunteers, also known as Cupboard Captains, approximately twice a month during the school year.

We’ve received heartwarming feedback from those we serve:
-
"I value that there is absolutely no stigma associated with visiting the cupboard. The fact that Sam stands in support of the cupboard makes visiting it “cool.” The students feel important that someone like Sam values their health and happiness! This man is interested in them and making sure they have the supplies they need to be successful at school, snacks for times when they are hungry and basic hygiene products. The students absolutely LOVE visiting the cupboard!!"
-
"I feel supported. As a first-year teacher, the Hubbard’s Cupboard has helped me financially, mentally and emotionally."
-
"I value that our students feel cared for when in many other aspects of life, they are not."
